Who needs an expensive word processor when Google now provide a perfectly adequate version on line. In fact, Google is in effect setting itself up as the Network Attached Storage device. You can get an email account which will allow you to keep a permanent archive of your emails and now you can use an online word processor and spreadsheet and then store your documents with Google. It means that you can operate your organisation (albeit somewhat basically) over the net using low specification equipment provided you have good bandwidth. This is the critical feature.
The word processor and the spreadsheet work well and cover all the basic functions.
